Right now, the front yard is brown with light brown grass on top (plus a bunch of little sticks still left over from the ice storm), but *soon* everything will begin to bloom and grow. It's going to rain, and plants will sprout leaves and flowers.
Best of all, by April, we will have dandelions again. I love dandelions.

If you pull off the leaves before they flower, they are tasty for salads for people and veggies for dogs. After they flower the leaves are a little bitter.
