I can't wait to get back to explore the Grand Canyon more thoroughly. I want to do the rim to rim hike, raft the river, the whole deal. It was magnificent just from the rim - I can only imagine what it will be like to see it in depth.
Until then, here's a tough old tree living out its existence where few dare to walk, right on the rim.

I want to do the rim to rim walk too. I should probably get into shape first though. I won't always have a five year old to lag behind with.

If Jamie comes with us, I can lag behind with Ryan! Brilliant. That gives me a couple more years to put off exercising.
You'd have to lug him. He's no Jonas for sure!! He can't even walk a block w/o you having to sweet talk him into putting one foot in front of the other. I'd definitely leave him behind.
